Overview

Kids Paradise Early Learning Centre are family owned and operated purpose-built services. Kids Paradise Early Learning Carrum downs has been operating since 1996 and Kids Paradise Long Street, Langwarrin has been operating since 2010.

At Kids Paradise Early Learning Centre our highest priority is making sure that our service is a place where you and your child feel happy, healthy and safe. We achieve this through the use of inclusive educational strategies, the employment of high-quality educators, the provision of natural play spaces and by maintaining high standards and hygiene.

Kids Paradise Early Learning Centre embraces and celebrates the diversity that exists within our community. By respecting diversity, children are supported to create positive relationships and a strong sense of identity. Inclusive early childhood programs acknowledge that all children have different life experiences, and such programs support children to value and celebrate similarities and differences. We invite and welcome you to share your culture, background and life experiences with us. You will find that our service will engage in various celebrations throughout the year that value people and cultures from all backgrounds, and we encourage you to share and take part in these celebrations.

Beginning in care, moving to a new room at our service or moving on from kindergarten to Prep is a big and important step, and our educators will be there to support and assist you and your child with these transitions. Our skilled educators will collaborate with you and use a range of strategies to provide a smooth, comfortable transition for your child as they progress on their learning journey.​

To enable us to consistently provide high-quality early childhood education and care programs that cater to the needs of different families, we are committed to continuous review and improvement. Our educators engage in an ongoing process of reflection, planning and review to ensure they can build on their own strengths and identify areas that need further focus. We strive to involve children, families and the community in this process of continuous improvement and encourage and welcome your thoughts, recommendations and feedback on what we are doing well, and areas where we can improve.

Our Mission

The mission of Kids Paradise Early Learning service is to provide a safe, stimulating, inclusive and homely environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. We aim to promote each Childs holistic development. Our goal is to support children's natural desire to be life long learners. We are committed to the families of our community, providing them with support and encouragement.

For the present, our vision is for parents and families to feel confident that their children are safe, engaged, educated and happy enabling children to become confident and involved learners. 

For the future, we would love children to look back on their time at Kids Paradise and their experiences with us and see it as a cherished part of their childhood.

Our Commitment to Child Safety

Our Service is committed to safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We understand our responsibilities and statutory duty of care to comply with both the Victorian New Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme to build our capacity as an organisation to prevent and respond to allegations of child abuse. We have a dedicated Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy which explains our service’s approach to meeting the Standards.

Our Service has a zero tolerance to child abuse, and we are committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children. We promote diversity and tolerance and aim to form equitable and positive relationships with children. We ensure children participate in decisions affecting them and listen and respect their suggestions and ideas. We respond to any concerns, disclosures, allegations or suspicions of harm.

Our Service strongly opposes any type of abuse against a child and endorses high quality practices in relation to protecting children. All staff understand their roles and responsibilities in protecting children from abuse and neglect and maintain up-to-date knowledge of child protection law (Reg 84). Staff will undertake child protection awareness training every 12 months, and whenever significant changes are made to the child protection law or reporting requirements. Staff will comply with our Code of Conduct at all times.
